Locating the FlashSystem 9500R rack solution (Customer task)
You must move the FlashSystem 9500R rack into its operational position before the IBM® System Services Representative (SSR) can initialize the racked system.

provides the weights of some example rack configurations.

Procedure
Install the FlashSystem 9500R rack, which uses the IBM Enterprise Slim
Rack (7965-S42) rack frame, into its location by following the installation instructions provided in
Installing the IBM Enterprise Slim Rack (7965-S42) (Customer task).
Some parts of the FlashSystem 9500R rack solution are preinstalled. You can add one or two Ethernet Switches to the top of the rack for the management links to the control enclosures, SAN switches and PDUs. Make the Ethernet connections that you filled in on the IP connectivity of Fibre Channel switches and power distribution units (PDUs) worksheet.
After the FlashSystem 9500R rack solution is in its operating location, an IBM SSR completes the installation and the initial system setup using the information provided in the customer worksheets.
