4442 The zone definition for the I/O port is not in sync with Fibre Channel fabric.

Explanation

An I/O port can be reported as autozone-incapable if it is offline or if the associated fabric does not support auto-zoning. Additionally, if an I/O port has asymmetric connectivity across nodes in the cluster, its associated port set is also reported as autozone-incapable.

User response

Determine whether the I/O port indicated in the event is valid:
  • If the port is being reconfigured in the network, first complete the reconfiguration work.
  • If the port is valid, mark the event as fixed to reattempt synchronization.
  • if the port is being disconnected, for example if a host is being decommissioned, complete the work to disconnect the port, remove it from the portset, then mark the event as fixed.
