Explanation

Event is logged when there are more than 256 active logins on all or any of the WWPN on Fibre Channel I/O port on any node and serving login more than the recommended limit.

To resolve this event, perform the following steps:
  1. The event is logged against the node, so the node ID and name is displayed in the output of lseventlog command. Run the following command to check the active logins count on each WWPN on the node against which the event is logged.
    lstargetportfc -filtervalue current_node_id=2
  2. The event is automatically marked as fixed when the SAN zoning has been updated to reduce the number of Fibre Channel logins to 256 or less.
