Explanation
This error can occur when managed disks from more than three tiers are in a storage pool where
Easy Tier® and automatic data
placement are enabled. Easy Tier
status is changed to measure mode.

User response
Remove managed disks from the storage pool so that Easy Tier supports the storage pool
configuration. Alternately, use the command chmdiskgrp -easytier on to force Easy Tier into
active mode. Forcing Easy Tier into
active mode on an unsupported storage pool configuration can cause
performance degradation.

After the configuration is changed so that it is supported by Easy Tier, the error is automatically
marked as fixed.
