Pool linking

With policy-based replication, storage pool links define the pool that is used on the remote system to create the replicated volumes when replication policies exist.

Creating linked pools
Replication policies can only be assigned to volume groups containing volumes in linked storage pools. When linking pools on a stretched topology system, only the pools that are in site 1 are required to be linked.
