4441 The fibre channel portset is no longer autozone capable.
Explanation
An I/O port can be reported as autozone-incapable if it is offline or if the associated fabric does not support auto-zoning. Additionally, if an I/O port has asymmetric connectivity across nodes in the cluster, its associated port set is also reported as autozone-incapable.User response
Refer to the ports included in the affected port set for this event.- Identify any ports that are offline and determine whether they are expected to be online.
- If a port should be online, enable it using the satask chfcportfeature -feature port_state -enable no -fcioportid <fcioportid> command.
- If a port remains offline, investigate cabling and network connectivity.
- If a port is no longer required for the host connection, remove it from the port set.
For ports that are online:
- Verify whether any configuration errors exist.
- Identify the connected fabric and ensure the switch port is correctly configured with
auto-zoning enabled. For example, on a Brocade switch, you can use
portcfgtdz --enable <port>.
Ensure that each I/O port is correctly configured and connected across both nodes in the I/O group. Each port pair must be connected to fabric ports with consistent configurations. After resolving all issues and confirming correct configuration, mark the event as fixed
