The front panel of the enclosure has three light-emitting diodes
(LEDs) that display the overall health of the enclosure.
Labels and indicators on the left end cap of the
control enclosure provide information about the enclosure status. When multiple enclosures are in a
rack, the serial number is used to identify the enclosure that is being referenced. Figure 1. Left enclosure end cap

of each indicator.

Off - The enclosure isn’t receiving AC power or it’s running on battery.
Slow flash - The main CPU isn’t running or all canisters are in X86 standby mode.
On - The CPU is active (not in standby mode) on at least one node canister.
Identify enclosure.
Blue
Off - Default
On - The light identifies the enclosure. The LED can be turned on or off by the
chenclosure command.
Enclosure fault
Amber
Off - No faults detected.
On
The enclosure is coming up.
A canister, drive, PSU, or fan assembly has an error.
A drive failed; the fault LED is also lit on the failed drive.
