  1. If possible, use the management GUI to run the suggested actions for the associated service error code.
  2. Use the procedures to restart (physically remove and reseat) a node canister.
  3. If location 0 is identified, because the adapter is on the system board, replace the node canister by using the remove and replace procedures.
  4. If a location other than 0 is identified, use the remove and replace procedures to replace the adapter. If this procedure does not fix the problem, replace the node canister (or system board, refer to hardware replacement documentation for your system).
