1265 SAS cable missing

Explanation

This event indicates that there is a problem with the SAS cable connected between the two canisters.

User response

Run the following fix procedure in the management GUI:
  1. Reseat the cable between the two ports that are identified in the sense data.
  2. Replace the cable between the two ports that are identified in the sense data.
  3. Replace the canister.
  4. Replace the other canister.
Note: After each action, check to see whether the canister ports at both ends of the cable are excluded. If the ports are excluded, then issue the following command to enable the ports: 
chenclosurecanister -excludesasport no -port X
