chautoupdate
Use the chautoupdate command to restore a specified autoupdate to a base version, or to enable or disable the autodownload or autoupdate policies for that update.
Syntax
Parameters
- -all
- (Optional) Specifies the changes applied to all autoupdates.
- -feature feature_id | feature_name
- (Optional) Specifies the ID or name of the feature to which the specified changes are applied.
- -reset
- (Optional) Specifies that the autoupdate should be reset to the base version.
- -policy autoupdate | autodownload | none | global
- (Optional) Specifies the policy setting for the autoupdate object. The values are
- autodownload: default value
- autoupdate
- none
- global
Description
This command is used to restore autoupdates and optionally enable automatic downloading and updating when new versions are released by IBM.
An invocation example
