chautoupdate

Use the chautoupdate command to restore a specified autoupdate to a base version, or to enable or disable the autodownload or autoupdate policies for that update.

Parameters

-all
(Optional) Specifies the changes applied to all autoupdates.
-feature feature_id | feature_name
(Optional) Specifies the ID or name of the feature to which the specified changes are applied.
-reset
(Optional) Specifies that the autoupdate should be reset to the base version.
-policy autoupdate | autodownload | none | global
(Optional) Specifies the policy setting for the autoupdate object. The values are
  • autodownload: default value
  • autoupdate
  • none
  • global

Description

This command is used to restore autoupdates and optionally enable automatic downloading and updating when new versions are released by IBM.
