Installing

This information covers the system hardware installation and initial setup.

After you verify that the power and environmental requirements of the system are met, and planning the location of the enclosure, you are ready to begin installing the hardware components. The installation activity follows the plan that is used in the planning section.

Attention: IBM® Enterprise Class Services (ECS) is available for you to purchase from IBM Technology Support Services (TSS). Consult your IBM Sales Representative or your IBM reseller to discuss including ECS as part of IBM's warranty service with the IBM Storage FlashSystem 7300 model 4657-924 product.

If you purchase IBM ECS, IBM System Services Representatives (SSRs) are responsible for some installing, updating, and troubleshooting tasks. Consult your IBM Sales Representative or your IBM reseller to understand the specific services that IBM provides.
