IBM Call Home and IBM Storage Insights registration worksheet

You will use this information to complete system registration for IBM Call Home and IBM® Storage Insights.

Step 1: Call Home asset registration information

Complete the following table of information so that you can use it to register each enclosure that you've purchased, after the system is installed:

Serial numbers to register  
Your time zone  
To prevent over-alerting, specify the usage category for each serial number that you are registering. Selections are: development, test, or production  
Enter the logical name for each serial number that you are registering.  

Step 2: Add the system owner and key contacts

Complete the following table to register the owner and key contact for the systems that you've purchased:

Step 3: Application setup information

Complete the following table of information so that you can register and set up each application:

Step 3A - Call Home User Interface
Decide if you want to use the Call Home user interface.  
Step 3B - IBM Storage Insights online
Enter the IP address for your IBM Storage Insights Cloud account.  

Step 4: Verify a Call Home event as a test

As the final step of activating IBM Call Home and registering your system, after the system is installed, you will send a test Call Home event. You should not need to provide any further information to send the test event, but you'll want to record whether the test was successful.
