Configuration settings for Hitachi HUS VM systems

The web browser access enables the intuitive setup of the Hitachi HUS VM storage system logical unit numbers (LUNs) and export to the system.

The setup is straightforward. A LUN must be presented to the system before the system can detect the controller.

To configure the Hitachi HUS VM storage systems, follow these steps:
  1. On the Hitachi Storage Navigator, select Ports/Host Groups.
  2. Highlight the host groups that relate to the FlashSystem 7300 system.
  3. Under the More Option tab, select Edit Host Groups. The default is for all options to be disabled.
  4. Enable option 39, Change the nexus specified in the SCSI Target Reset.
