System support for HP 9000 and HP Integrity servers
The system provides support for HP 9000 and HP Integrity servers.
HP-UX version 11.31 supports ServiceGuard 11.18, which provides a locking
mechanism called cluster lock LUN. On the system, specify the block device name of a
volume for CLUSTER_LOCK_LUN variable in the configuration ASCII file. The
lock LUN among all system nodes must point to the same volume. This consistency
can be guaranteed by determining the worldwide ID (WWID) of the volume. The system
lock LUN cannot be used for multiple system locking and cannot be used as a member of a
Logical Volume Manager (LVM) volume group or VxVM disk group.
