Tier composition statistics
The Tier Composition chart displays the distributed workload between the top tier, middle tier, and bottom tier for the selected pool.
To view Easy Tier® data and reports in the
management GUI, select one of the following paths:
- From the management GUI, select
- From the management GUI, select
Select the Tier Composition tab to display an interactive chart of the tiers that are within the selected pool.
The following list describes the type of data that is displayed in the chart:
- Tier types
- Displays the type of tiers that are in each category.
- MDisk Mapping
- Displays a table for the selected pool that describes which MDisks are mapped to which tier.
- Extent Capacity
- X-axis of the chart
- Key
- Displays the breakdown of the potential type of workload that might be in each tier category:
The following values are available:
- Active
- Data with more than 0.1 IOPS / Extent access density for small IOPS
- Inactive
- Data with zero IOPS / Extent access density (no recent activity)
- Active large
- Data that is not classified
- Low activity
- Data with more than zero IOPS / Extent access density
- Composition details
- Displays more detailed information about the workload that is listed in the chart key.
The detailed format is described in the following table:
