545 The node serial number on the boot drives match each other, but they do not match the product serial number on the system board.

Explanation

The node serial number on the boot drives match each other, but they do not match the product serial number on the system board.
Note: This error can also occur when a node canister is replaced because the node serial number of the boot drives from the old node canister does not match the serial number of the new node canister. This behavior is expected.

User response

If this error occurs during node canister replacement, use the satask chbootdrive -replacecanister command to acknowledge that the mismatch is intentional.

Otherwise, check the S/N value on the MT-M S/N label on the front of the node. Look at a boot drive view to see the node serial number of the system board and the node serial number of each drive.

  1. Replace the boot drives with the correct boot drives if needed.
  2. Set the system board serial number by using the following command:

    satask chvpd -type <value> -serial <S/N value from the MT-M S/N label>
