Management address and service address worksheet for the system

Access to system management is through an embedded graphical user interface (GUI) that runs on the nodes of the system. To access the management GUI, you direct a web browser to the system management IP address, which is set during system initialization. You also must specify service addresses for each of the nodes in your system.

Use the following table to record the system management address and the node service addresses. The primary system address is bound to Ethernet port 1. A secondary system address, if specified, is bound to Ethernet port 2. Specify the type of installation and the serial number (S/N) of the enclosure. Either IPv4 or IPv6 addresses can be used. If both IPv4 and IPv6 are operating concurrently, you must specify an address for each protocol.
  • If this installation is a new system installation, you designate new, unused IP addresses.
  • If this installation is adding an I/O group (control enclosure) to an existing system, use the management address of the existing system.
