Call home and event notification commands

Use the call home and event notification commands to enable your system to send notifications.

chcloudcallhome
Use the chcloudcallhome command to enable or disable the Cloud Call Home function.
chemail
Use the chemail command to set or modify contact information for email event notifications. At least one of the parameters must be specified to modify settings.
chemailserver
Use the chemailserver command to modify the parameters of an existing email server object.
chemailuser
Use the chemailuser command to modify the settings that are defined for an email recipient.
chproxy
Use the chproxy command to update the system-wide web proxy server configuration.
chsnmpserver
Use the chsnmpserver command to modify the parameters of an existing SNMP server.
lscloudcallhome
Use the lscloudcallhome command to view the status of the Call Home information that is sent to a server in the Cloud.
lsemailserver
Use the lsemailserver command to display a concise list or a detailed view of email servers that are configured on the system.
lsemailuser
Use the lsemailuser command to generate a report that lists the email event notification settings for all email recipients, an individual email recipient, or a specified type (local or support) of email recipient.
lsproxy
Use the lsproxy command to display the system-wide web proxy server configuration.
lssnmpserver
Use the lssnmpserver command to return a concise list or a detailed view of SNMP servers that are configured on the system.
mkemailserver
Use the mkemailserver command to create an email server object that describes a remote Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) email server.
mkemailuser
Use the mkemailuser command to add a recipient of email event and inventory notifications to the email event notification facility. Add up to twelve recipients (one recipient at a time).
mkproxy
Use the mkproxy command to create a system-wide web proxy server configuration.
mksnmpserver
Use the mksnmpserver command to create a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) server to receive notifications.
rmemailserver
Use the rmemailserver command to delete the specified email server object.
rmemailuser
Use the rmemailuser command to remove a previously defined email recipient from the system.
rmproxy
Use the rmproxy command to remove the system-wide web proxy server configuration.
rmsnmpserver
Use the rmsnmpserver command to delete the specified Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)server.
sendcloudcallhome
Use the sendcloudcallhome command to send Call Home information directly to a server in the Cloud.
sendinventoryemail
Use the sendinventoryemail command to send an inventory email notification to all email recipients able to receive inventory email notifications. There are no parameters for this command.
startemail
Use the startemail command to activate the email and inventory notification function. There are no parameters for this command.
stopemail
Use the stopemail command to stop the email and inventory notification function. There are no parameters for this command.
testemail
Use the testemail command to send an email notification to one user or all users of the email notification function to verify correct operation.
