Renaming a Safeguarded policy

You can rename an existing user-defined Safeguarded policy with the command-line interface. The management GUI does not support creating or changing user-defined Safeguarded policies.

To rename and existing user-defined Safeguarded policy, run the following command:

chsafeguardedpolicy chsafeguardedpolicy -name new_name -safeguarded_policy_name_or_id

The new_name indicates the new name of the Safeguarded policy and -safeguarded_policy_name_or_id indicates the current name or ID of the Safeguarded backup that you are renaming.
