Ensure that you are familiar with the supported small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceivers for the system.

Interface adapters for the system support the use of longwave and shortwave SFP transceivers for cabling to your SAN.

The SFPs supported by each interface adapter are identified by the FRU number that is displayed on the SFP. Refer to the list of replaceable units to determine which SFP transceivers must be used with each interface adapter.
