Recovering from a disaster at a primary site
To recover from a disaster at a primary site, you verify the condition and follow the T2 recovery procedure.
- Enter the ls3sitercconsistgrp command to verify the state of the consistency
groups. In the resulting output, the state of the consistency group is
stopped
.[root@9-199-142-87 RC3sITE]# ls3sitercconsistgrp name state primary periodic_copy_source sync_copy_state periodic_copy_state freeze_time cycle_period status cg17 stopped BR_SITE BR_SITE consistent_synchronized copying 2019/12/21/20/39/26 300 primary_storage_offline cg18 stopped BR_SITE BR_SITE consistent_synchronized copying 2019/12/21/20/39/36 300 primary_storage_offline
- Complete the recover system procedure to recover the site.
- On the primary site, enter the enablecli command to make the storage system accessible from IBM Spectrum Virtualize 3-Site Orchestrator.
- After the site is recovered and orchestrator access is restored, the site is automatically included in data cycling.
