Recovering from a disaster at a primary site

To recover from a disaster at a primary site, you verify the condition and follow the T2 recovery procedure.

  1. Enter the ls3sitercconsistgrp command to verify the state of the consistency groups. In the resulting output, the state of the consistency group is stopped.
    [root@9-199-142-87 RC3sITE]# ls3sitercconsistgrp
    name state primary periodic_copy_source sync_copy_state periodic_copy_state freeze_time cycle_period status
    cg17 stopped BR_SITE BR_SITE consistent_synchronized copying 2019/12/21/20/39/26 300 primary_storage_offline
    cg18 stopped BR_SITE BR_SITE consistent_synchronized copying 2019/12/21/20/39/36 300 primary_storage_offline
  2. Complete the recover system procedure to recover the site.
  3. On the primary site, enter the enablecli command to make the storage system accessible from IBM Spectrum Virtualize 3-Site Orchestrator.
  4. After the site is recovered and orchestrator access is restored, the site is automatically included in data cycling.
