rmip
Use rmip command to delete an IP address specified by the IP address ID.
Syntax
Parameters
- ip_address_id
- (Required) Specifies the row ID (lsip) of IP address to be deleted.
CAUTION:
- User is not allowed to delete the last IP address in a portset if there are any hosts associated with the portset. This means one must delete hosts or assign to different portsets first and then delete IP addresses.
- Cannot remove an IP address if it is a part of the storage portset or remote copy portset and is in use.
