rmdnsserver

Use the rmdnsserver command to remove a Domain Name System (DNS) server from a system.

Syntax

Note: This command is not supported by 840 AE1.

Parameters

dns_name | dns_id
(Required) Specifies the ID or name of the Domain Name System (DNS) server to be removed from the system. The value must be a number for the ID and an alphanumeric string for the name.

Description

This command removes a DNS server from a system.

Note: The last DNS server cannot be removed if a named proxy server is in use.
