Concurrent maintenance is the capability to complete I/O operations to a system while simultaneously completing maintenance operations on it.

Important: A Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) Field Engineer must complete all maintenance operations.

The system supports concurrent hardware maintenance and firmware update operations on these systems.
