Managing portsets

Portsets are groupings of logical addresses that are associated with the specific traffic types. The system supports both Fibre Channel and IP portsets for host attachment, IP portsets for backend storage connectivity, and IP replication traffic. The system supports a maximum of 72 portsets. You can use the management GUI or the command-line interface (CLI) to manage the portsets.

After creation of Ethernet portsets, you can assign IP addresses, hosts, and IP partnerships to the portset. For Fibre Channel portsets, you can assign Fibre Channel IO port IDs and then configure Fibre Channel attached hosts to use that portset.
