Assigning the system ID to the partition
Use this information when you assign a system ID to the partition.
About this task
Procedure
- Assign the system partition ID.
- Write the information to the partition table on the disk.
- Exit the fdisk program.

Partition number (1-4): 1
Hex code (type L to list codes): 83
Command (m for help): w
The partition table has been altered!
