2024 Short distance partnership using RDMA running in degraded mode

Explanation

All or few RDMA sessions on the node in a system involved in a short distance partnership using RDMA, are in disconnected state.

User response

All the sessions from the node to remote cluster should be in connected state.

  • Check if IP addresses are properly configured and reachable. User can check reachability by svctask ping command using source and destination IPs in the disconnected session.
  • Check the configuration of the routers and firewall to ensure that port 21456 is not blocked.
