IBM FlashSystem Storage System and IBM SAN Volume Controllers are built with IBM Storage Virtualize software (previously known as IBM Spectrum Virtualize). The platform-agnostic Software feature guide contains information about product features, designed to meet enterprise storage needs while reducing costs and complexity.

- Command-line Interface (CLI)
- Use CLIs to enter commands and manage the system. This section provides detailed information on various elements of a command such as syntax and parameters and how to use them. The commands are categorized based on the function or area of IBM® Storage FlashSystem.
- Messages and Codes
- Messages and codes provide reference information about common events, configuration events, error codes, CLI events, and SCSI events. Error codes describe a service procedure that must be followed. Error codes can be either notification type E (error) or notification type W (warning).
