Keyboard navigation when using JAWS
Intended result | Comment |
---|---|
Activating the default action | On a user interface where you can press Enter to activate the default action after pressing Enter to make a selection, JAWS causes the second Enter to be ignored. To activate the default action, you must tab to the button corresponding to the default action and then press Enter. For example, when you add a document, you can select a document class. After tabbing to the class you want, press Enter to select the class. When not using JAWS, you can press Enter again to activate the OK button and accept your selection. When using JAWS, you must first tab to the OK button before you press Enter again. |
Displaying the menu | On a client running Microsoft Windows Vista with JAWS V11 enabled, you must use the Shift key in addition to the Up Arrow and Down Arrow keys to display the items in a menu list. |
Font size
To use the Internet Explorer menu option to change the text size, you must first set Internet Explorer to ignore the font sizes that are specified by the application.
