You
must clear the cache for the web application server to remove the currently deployed Content Platform Engine data to prevent conflicts with the upgraded
version.
Procedure
To clear the web application server cache:

Stop the application server instances that host the FileNetEngine application.
- Delete the cache files for your web application server.
Important: In a high availability IBM®
WebSphere® Application Server
environment, you need to delete the cache files on each node in the cluster.

- WL_HOME is the installation path for WebLogic Server.
- mydomain is the WebLogic domain where the FileNetEngine application is
deployed.
- servername is the name of the Content Platform Engine
server instance where the FileNet application is deployed.

- For Oracle WebLogic Server, in the Content Platform Engine
configuration manager profile folder, find, backup, and then remove the
plan.xml file that contains the deployment plan for the FileNetEngine
application.
The file will be regenerated when the Deploy Application task is run later in the process.
