Historical reporting
You can use Case Analyzer with online analytical processing (OLAP) tools to generate historical reports of long-term trends. These historical reports can be used for analysis of trends in the case, task, and workflow activities of your business operations.
- Determines cycle times for your case-enabled and workflow-enabled business processes.
- Pinpoints bottlenecks that negatively affect production and service levels, costing you time and money.
- Increases the return on investment of your case and workflow systems.
- Review the collected data to isolate problems and take direct control over the data elements being reviewed.
- Generate chart-based reports on statistical information gathered from the Content Platform Engine event and audit logs.
- Create and save custom charts for future use.
Case Analyzer uses OLAP technology to provide process analytics. OLAP is a database technology that is optimized for querying and reporting, enabling fast analysis of multidimensional data. Case Analyzer and OLAP can be used with IBM® Cognos® Business Intelligence reports or Microsoft Excel charts for report generation. Cognos Business Intelligence provides web-based analytic and reporting capabilities, while Microsoft Excel provides a client-based analytic and reporting solution.
