Database services
Content Platform Engine uses database servers to store content. If the database is inaccessible, users are unable to add content to and retrieve content from the object store or workflow system. You should include any database services in a cluster as part of a highly available environment.
No additional configuration steps are necessary on the FileNet P8 side to use highly available database instances for any FileNet P8 components, with the exception of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
