Case Analyzer as a monitoring tool

You can use Case Analyzer to monitor case and business processes. Case Analyzer collects events from the Content Platform Engine event logs and, if Content Platform Engine is integrated with IBM® Case Manager, the audit log, and generates chart-based statistical reports from active case and workflow data, as well as recent historical data.

The following diagram shows how data flows from the Content Platform Engine event and audit logs to the Case Analyzer store.

The Case Monitor dashboards use the data directly from the Case Analyzer store to monitor case, task, and workflow events in near real time. By using the dashboards, you can monitor the system based on in-progress and recent historical data. The Case Analyzer store contains data from the event logs (workflow information) and the audit log (case information).
