Managing profile setting

You can use the profile setting in IBM® Guardium® Exposure Manager to manage email notification preferences.

The profile setting allows you to unsubscribe from emails, choose the types of notifications that you want to receive, and modify the frequency, language, and date and time settings for notifications.

To see the profile setting, click your user icon on the IBM Guardium Exposure Manager user interface, and then click Edit profile.

To manage email notifications, ensure that you configure SMTP integration. By default, you receive email notifications after SMTP is configured.

On the Profile setting page, you can edit the following settings:

  • Email: To disable notifications for your account, select Unsubscribe from all email notifications.

  • Email me about: To refine the types of emails that you want to receive, select one or more email types.

  • Frequency:

    • Once a day: Select this to receive all emails that you have subscribed to once a day (all at the same time). This is the default email frequency.

    • Once a week: Select this to receive all emails that you have subscribed to once a week (all at the same time).

    • Immediately: Select this to receive each email immediately as it is generated by IBM Guardium Exposure Manager.

  • Language: Use the menu to select the language for email notifications.

  • Date and time preference: Choose the date and time format to use in email notifications.
