You can integrate IBM® Guardium® Exposure Manager with a ServiceNow server to manage IT services and operations. You can create ServiceNow tickets to track IT services and operations.
Before you begin
The ServiceNow configuration settings allow you to connect to your ServiceNow system by specifying its URL and authentication credentials. If you will authenticate through an API key and secret, ensure that you have the key and secret available before you start integrating ServiceNow with IBM Guardium Exposure Manager.
Procedure

From the main menu, click .

On the Integrations page, click the Discover tab, and then click the ServiceNow card.

In the About step of the Connect to ServiceNow wizard, read the information, and then click Next.

In the Configure step of the Connect to ServiceNow wizard, enter the following ServiceNow configuration details, and then click Test connection to ensure that IBM Guardium Exposure Manager can connect to the ServiceNow server.

- URL: Enter the URL of the ServiceNow instance.
- Public SSL Certificate: Enter the ServiceNow server certificate details.

- If you choose 'Basic' as username and password, enter your credentials in the Username and Password fields.
- If you chose 'Basic' API key and secret authentication, enter your ticketing system's API key in the API key field and then enter the secret in the Key secret field.

After testing the connection, click Finish to save the ticketing configuration and create the integration.
Results
After you create a ServiceNow integration, you can create ServiceNow tickets for tasks or issues that are created due to IT services and IT operations.
