You can integrate IBM® Guardium® Exposure Manager with a Jira server to track bugs and issues. You can create bugs and issues for violations of the policies related to enterprise data security that is used across AI applications, databases, and endpoints.
Before you begin
The Jira configuration settings allow you to connect to your Jira system by specifying its URL and authentication credentials. If you will authenticate through an API key and secret, ensure that you have the key and secret available before you start integrating Jira with IBM Guardium Exposure Manager.
Procedure

From the main menu, click .

On the Integrations page, click the Discover tab, and then click the Jira card.

In the About step of the Connect to Jira wizard, read the information, and then click Next.

In the Configure step of the Connect to Jira wizard, enter the following Jira configuration details, and then click Test connection to ensure that IBM Guardium Exposure Manager can connect to the Jira server.

- URL: Enter the URL of the Jira instance.
- Public SSL Certificate: Enter the Jira server certificate details.

- If you select 'Basic' as username and password, enter your credentials in the Username and Password fields.
- If you select 'Basic' API key and secret authentication, enter your ticketing system's API key in the API key field and then enter the secret in the Key secret field.

- Project key: Enter the project key of the project space where the tickets are to be created in Jira tool.
- Issue Type: Enter the type of ticket.

After testing the connection, click Finish to save the ticketing configuration and create the integration.
Results
After you create a Jira integration, you can create Jira tickets for issues that are created due to violation of the defined policies.
