You can change your password on a remote z/OS® system to which you are connected.
You must be connected to the remote system on which you want
to change your password.
- From the Remote Systems view, right-click
the connection name.
- From the menu, select Change Password.
The remote system daemon must be at version 3.0 or later, and
you must be connected to the remote system for this menu item to be
enabled.
The
Change Password window
opens. This window displays the following information:
- Host name: The name of the remote system.
- User ID: The user ID for which you are
changing your password.
- Current password expires on: The date on
which your current password expires.
- Cycle in days: The number of days before
your new password expires.
- In the New password field, type
your new password.
- In the Re-enter to confirm field,
type your password again.
- Click OK to change your password.
