Enabling hyperlinks for created resources

If you enabled the setting of hyperlinks for created resources, after you create an MVS or USS resource, a message that contains a hyperlink is displayed. By clicking the hyperlink, the created resource is selected directly in the Remote Systems view.

To enable the hyperlinks for created resources, follow these steps:
  1. Click Window (on Windows) or IBM Developer for z Systems (on macOS) > Preferences > Remote Systems > z/OS.
  2. Check the checkbox for Display newly created resource in the Remote Console view.
After you create z/OS resources such as an MVS partitioned data set or USS folder, a message is created in the Remote Console view. The message contains a hyperlink that selects the resource directly in the Remote Systems view.
