Trusted TCP
The RSE server utilizes TCP/IP’s Trusted TCP service to securely authenticate a user to JES Job Monitor (JMON) with minimal overhead. JMON’s support for this service can result in the following TCP/IP message during JMON startup:
EZD1929I tcpip SECURITY DOMAIN NAME NOT DEFINED
This is message is related to Trusted TCP’s support for SYSPLEX-wide usage, a feature that is not
utilized by RSE and JMON. Therefore, this message can be ignored, or prevented by defining the
EZBDOMAIN
profile in the SERVAUTH
class. For example:
RDEFINE SERVAUTH EZBDOMAIN APPLDATA('TRUSTEDTCP')
