Exporting code templates

You can export a code template to an XML file for sharing with other users or for moving code templates from one workspace to another.

1. On the Templates page, select one or more code templates and click Export.
   The Export Templates window opens. The default name of the export file is templates.xml. You can specify a different name.
2. Navigate to the location where you want to store the file and click Save.
   The templates are saved to the XML file.

   Important: Do not edit the export file manually. Editing a template export file can have unpredictable results.
