Performance Evaluation Overview

In the IBM® Emptoris® Supplier Lifecycle Management application, Performance Evaluation is a module to create, manage, and evaluate cross-functional supplier ratings.

Performance Evaluation is a process that evaluates a supplier 's performance over a time period in the past. Both soft facts (for example, innovation) and hard facts (for example, from the ERP system) can be included and weighed in performance evaluation.

The scope of Performance Evaluation is defined by:
  • Supplier
  • Time period
  • One or more categories, regions, organizations, and volume
A Performance Evaluation can have the following perspectives:
  • Standard Performance Evaluation: Internal users who document and evaluate the experience of working with a supplier.
  • Reverse Performance Evaluation: External users who evaluate a supplier's performance that is based on a self-evaluation that is done by the supplier.

The 360 degree view of Performance Evaluations displays suppliers, categories, organisations, and regions. Only "Released" objects are shown for Performance evaluations.
