IBM Elite Support for MCP Context Forge specification
IBM Elite Support for MCP Context Forge provides IBM technical support for the open-source software specified in the order schedule, as well as any related open-source projects listed below, for the duration of the product term.
IBM Elite Support for MCP Context Forge does not provide licenses for:
- Open-source software
- Open-source projects
- Any IBM proprietary software
No software licenses are provided under IBM Elite Support for MCP Context Forge. You must separately license and download any Open-Source Software or Open-Source Projects.
During the product term, IBM might release additional software related to MCP Context Forge, which might be subject to separate license terms.
As of 25 November 2025, IBM Elite Support for MCP Context Forge support covers MCP Context Forge versions 0.9.0 and up. Subscribers must run a supported Python version to receive support. Supported versions are >=3.11, which includes all releases from 3.11 and up.
Exclusions:
- Customization requests beyond the open-source software's standard functions.
- Training and onboarding for the open-source software.
- Integration assistance with third-party applications.
- Issues caused by improper use.
- Data corruption that is caused by the user.
- Subscription: Means Customer’s subscription to IBM Elite Support for MCP Context Forge during a specified Product Term.
- Product Term: Means the term for which Customer has subscribed to IBM Elite Support for MCP Context Forge.
- Documentation: Means the Open-Source Software documentation for the following products:
- Open-Source Software: Refers to the following open-source software products:
- "MCP Context Forge": Means the open-source software licensed under Apache 2.0 License made available at https://github.com/IBM/mcp-context-forge
- Open-Source Projects: Refers to the following open-source projects as made available at their respective project sites:
