Verifying Prometheus data source from Grafana

Learn more about how to verify that the Prometheus datasource is created by accessing the Grafana User Interface (UI).

1. Log in to the OpenShift® Container Platform (OCP) by using the OpenShift administrator credentials.
2. In the left panel, go to Networking > Routes.
3. Select the project from the Project list where you installed the Grafana operator.
4. Click the link from the Location column for the Grafana route.
5. From the Grafana User Interface (UI) home page, click Sign In.
6. Enter the username and password in the text boxes that you entered when you created the Grafana instance, and click Log In.
   You can see that the datasource is created.

   
7. Go to Settings > Data Sources
   You can see that the Prometheus instance is set as a default data source.
