Monitoring the RQA services

The OpenShift® administrator can monitor the IBM® Engineering Requirements Quality Assistant (RQA) services by accessing the Prometheus or Grafana User interfaces.

Complete the following steps to monitor the RQA services:

Procedure

  1. Installing Prometheus operator
  2. Creating Prometheus instance
  3. Creating Prometheus route
  4. Adding a cluster role to the user
  5. Creating Prometheus service monitors
  6. Monitoring RQA services from Prometheus
  7. Installing Grafana operator
  8. Creating Grafana instance
  9. Optional: Creating Grafana route

    If the Grafana route is not created automatically after the Grafana instance is created, the OpenShift administrator needs to create the Grafana route.
