Creating projects to install RQA operators

The OpenShift® administrator can create projects where the operators are installed. The project is alternatively called namespace.

Procedure

Complete the following steps to create a project in the OpenShift cluster:

  1. Log in to the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) by using the OpenShift administrator credentials.
  2. Choose one of the following ways to create a project:
    • In the left panel, go to Projects and click Create Project.
    • In the left panel, go to Operators > OperatorHub, and click Create Project from the Project list.
  3. In the Create Project dialog box, enter the name of the project in the Name field.
  4. Optional: Enter the project display name and description in the Display Name and Description fields.
  5. Click Create.
