Importing plain text files

Use the plain text importer to populate a module with the contents of a plain text file. The import plain text tool is configurable, and you can save your configuration settings in a file for future use.

About this task

If the module contains objects, the file is imported after the current object.

Procedure

  1. Click File > Import > Plain Text.
  2. Browse to the file that you want to import, and then click Import.
  3. Set the options that you want for the import, and then click Import.
