Emissions dashboard

The emissions dashboard gives you a clear view of your supply chain’s emissions, from the big picture to detailed data, so you can better manage and reduce your environmental impact.

The emissions dashboard has two tabs: the Overview tab, which shows total emissions from all suppliers to help you understand overall impact, and the Details tab, which breaks down emissions by product, supplier, and category for deeper analysis.

The Overview tab contains the following information and actions:
  • Information:
    • Emissions - The emissions section shows total emissions in kilograms of CO2 equivalent (kgCO2e) for the selected period, along with the emissions intensity in kgCO2e per USD spent. It also indicates your total spend in USD for the period, lists the number of order lines included in the analysis, and shows the number of suppliers contributing to the emissions. Additionally, it displays the number of countries from which your products are sourced, lists the number of unique products included in the analysis, and indicates the number of locations where purchases were made.
    • Emissions by method - Shows the breakdown of emissions by various calculation methods, including supplier-specific, hybrid, average-data, and spend-based.
    • Supplier, category, location, and source country views - These views provide detailed insights into various aspects of emissions data. The pie chart displays the proportion of total emissions. The stacked bar chart shows the emissions contribution of each supplier, category, location, or source country, broken down by calculation method. The charts allow you to compare the emissions from different suppliers, categories, locations, or countries and see how each method impacts the total emissions. A detailed tabular section at the bottom provides key metrics such as supplier, product category, location ID, source country, and more.
  • Actions:
    • Analyze emissions - track emissions at the product level to identify high-emission products and suppliers. For more information, see Analyzing emissions.
    • Make informed decisions - use the detailed data to make informed decisions about future orders and supplier engagements.
The Details tab contains the following information and actions:
  • Information:
    • Order line details - Find comprehensive information about each order line on the details tab. When you click the order line number, it opens the order line details page, where you can see product details, quantity, value, emissions, and calculation methods.
    • Product details - The product ID displays the unique identifier for each product. When you click the product ID or product name, it opens the product details page. You can find information such as product emissions summary, category, status, value, and emissions history.
    • Supplier Details - The supplier field indicates the supplier of the product, and clicking the supplier name opens the supplier details page, providing you with information about the supplier, including location, contact details, total spend, emissions intensity, and emissions history.
  • Actions:
    • View detailed data - you can examine detailed data for each supplier, product category, location, and source country. This helps you understand the specifics of your emissions data.
    • Filter and sort - use filters and sorting options to focus on particular suppliers, categories, or locations. This allows you to prioritize areas that need immediate attention.
    • Generate reports - create detailed reports based on the data in the details tab. These reports can be used for internal analysis. For more information, see Exporting order line data.
    • Compare metrics - compare various metrics such as emissions, spend, and order lines across different suppliers and categories to identify trends and areas for improvement.
