Getting started for users
Users can get started by assessing materiality to prioritize suppliers and engaging with suppliers.
Procedure
- Log in to Envizi™ Supply Chain Intelligence. For more information, see Logging in to Envizi Supply Chain Intelligence.
- Create the Enable supplier-specific method action plan to identify high-priority suppliers and determine which of their products are material for PCF data collection. For more information, see Creating action plans.
- Start actions listed in the Enable supplier-specific method action plan to request PCF data from the high-priority suppliers. For more information, see Starting actions.
What to do next
- Review each submission, check the survey responses and attachments, and decide whether to approve or return the request for updates. For more information, see Reviewing action responses.
- Review the quality levels of the responses. For more information, see Monitoring data quality.
- Review emission levels for scope 3 category 1 products and services. For more information, see
Analyzing emissions.
You can capture data quality metrics from your suppliers when requesting PCF data. You can then configure thresholds to dictate what is considered acceptable by defining good and bad quality responses for the submitted PCF responses.
- Perform an audit trail. For more information, see Perform audit trail.
- Export the summary data for locations to Envizi ESG Suite to incorporate this data in calculated emission volumes in your enterprise-wide scope 3 emission totals. For more information, see Enabling summary reports in Envizi ESG Suite.
- Run summary reports in Envizi ESG Suite. For more information, see Running summary reports in Envizi ESG Suite.
Several reports and dashboards are available in Envizi ESG Suite to provide aggregated views of emission levels across your organization. These reports and dashboards incorporate emissions performance for scopes 1, 2 and 3. Review the consolidated views of emission levels for your organization and compare against baseline years. Drill down to see the contribution of specific suppliers to emission levels.
