Configuring the default currency

You can configure a default currency that is used for display purposes throughout the application.

About this task

The default currency setting controls how monetary values are displayed in the user interface. This setting does not affect the underlying data or calculations, only the display format.

Procedure

  1. From the left navigation menu under Admin, select Customization.
  2. In the Configuration section, click View parameters.
    The Organization parameters page opens.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Parameters table, locate the defaultCurrency parameter and enter the desired currency code in the Value field.
    Use standard three-letter currency codes such as USD, EUR, GBP, or JPY.
  5. Click Save.

Results

The application now displays monetary values using the specified default currency.
