Work queue builder

The Work queue builder provides user interface to define custom work queues to identify risk in your organization business process. Also, it provides the capability to set corresponding priorities and resolution to the defined work queue that enables proactive insights and expedited action.

A work queue is typically attached with a resolution or set of resolutions and research topics (if needed):
  • Resolution - Action item to be taken on the work queue.
  • Research topic - A specific subject of interest that a user wants to know by asking questions to the Research Assistant for the given work queue.

Learn more about the work queue, work items, work item details, resolutions, actionable workflow, and Research Assistant, see Work queues.

It is recommended that you create research topics and resolutions before you create work queues or you can continue by using the existing research topics and resolutions during the creation of a work queue. To learn more, see Creating resolutions and Creating research topics.

The work queue samples are provided to help you start with. These samples can be copied and modified according to your requirements. To create a work queue, start by defining the general details and priority. Then, specify a criteria to populate items in a work queue or use an external source to identify work queue items. If you are using an external source, then you need to upload the work queue items to the Envizi Supply Chain Intelligence by using the upsertWorkItem mutation in the GraphQL API. Then, select the resolutions and research topics from the available list. You can add more than one resolutions and research topics to a work queue. To learn more, see Work queue builder.
